On October 25, 2025, the NBT Group team actively participated in the “Emerging Trends in the Green Economy” International Scientific and Practical Conference, hosted at Ajou University in Tashkent. The conference provided a vital platform for experts, researchers, and practitioners to discuss the future of sustainable development.
Our team engaged across three key sessions, covering the essential pillars of a Green Economy: Infrastructure, Technology, and Education.
Key Discussion Pillars:
1. Smart Grids and Energy Distribution: The initial discussions focused on building the foundational infrastructure for a sustainable future. Highlights included Green Perspectives on Sustainable Innovation (Dr. Sivaganesh Loganathan) and defining Technological Pathways Towards a Sustainable Economy (Prof. Mohd Azizish Khan). These presentations underscored the strategic importance of resilient, smart energy grids.
2. Digital Technology and AI in Engineering: This session, moderated by Prof. Thakur Gyanti, explored how advanced technology is transforming the built environment. Key topics included the application of Zero-Emission Algorithms, AI’s Role in Sustainable Building Performance (Prof. S.K. Kumar), and the transition from Resource to Resilience by leveraging Solar and Wind Energy (Prof. Muhammad Suhail, Prof. Rizwan Ali Ansari).
3. Modern Learning Methods in Promoting Green Economy: The focus shifted to capacity building and preparing the workforce for the transition. Experts discussed the fundamental Transformation of the Higher Education System (Prof. Ulugbek Rustamov) and the necessity of adapting Modern Teaching Methods (Prof. Dr. Imamov Erkin) to fully integrate Green Economy principles into future professional and legal frameworks.
We are deeply appreciative of the opportunity to have taken part in this substantive event, fostering dialogue with academic leaders and international experts on the most pressing issues in Central Asian development.
For NBT Group, being part of this collaborative dialogue strengthens the ties between science, business, and society. We remain committed to supporting initiatives that accelerate the development of sustainable agriculture, innovative technology adoption, and an environmentally responsible economy across Central Asia.
