Within the framework of projects financed by KfW (German Development Bank), special attention is paid not only to the quality of construction, but also to strict compliance with the environmental standards established by the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
One of the key examples was the work at the “Zarafshon Oyna” company’s facility in the Navoiy region. Here, to guarantee that all processes comply with national environmental requirements, a thorough monitoring of the air quality was carried out for a whole year.
The modern equipment purchased from AQMesh made it possible to organize regular measurements of ambient air quality on the construction site and in adjacent areas. Thanks to this, full compliance with environmental standards was ensured, and safe conditions for the residents of the region were created.
The NBT Group team, which acted as the project partner, accompanied the monitoring throughout the year – from equipment installation to data analysis and preparation of reports for regulatory bodies.
Furthermore, NBT Group is the official distributor of this environmental equipment by AQMesh in Uzbekistan, which allows for the effective implementation of advanced monitoring and control technologies for the state of the environment at construction sites.
“We see our task not only in supporting construction, but also in ensuring that projects meet the highest standards of environmental safety. This is a key to sustainable development and concern for people’s health,” emphasized NBT Group.
This experience became an example of how international financing and local expertise can be successfully combined to achieve environmental goals. Such practices set a new quality level for construction projects in Uzbekistan and help to harmoniously combine infrastructure development with care for the environment.
