The management of Nazar Business and Technology took part in the 14th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals in Samarkand. This conference brought together more than 2,000 participants from 130 countries to solve one of the most pressing problems today – the conservation of migratory species of wild animals.
This event was held for the first time in Central Asia, Samarkand received distinguished guests such as the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) Inger Andersen, Executive Director of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Gretel Aguilar, Head of the World Conservation Monitoring Center nature of the UN Environment Program, as well as various levels of heads of international organizations, government agencies, diplomats, scientists, and experts.
The agenda of the Conference included many issues, such as:
– Measures to combat poaching;
– Exchange of information and development of environmental ties between countries and organizations;
– Approval of the strategic plan for migratory species for the period 2024-2032; and
– Amendments and adoption of new changes to the Annexes of the Convention.
The conference was held at a high level and plans for the future were identified.
