Within the framework of the World Bank (WB) Mission, WB specialists visited the project site in South Karakalpakstan, where it is being inaugurated a hydrotechnical construction erected on the Buston canal.
The photos below show the status of the Buston Canal in November 2016, when the project was just starting, and the next photo is the newly reconstructed Buston Canal after the implementation of the WB “South Karakalpakstan Water Resources Improvement Management Project”.
The NBT team is pleased to inform that the WB mission was successful and positive feedback received, as well as recommendations from the WB specialists, were given on conducting in-depth monitoring and evaluation of the project, since there are still 14 months of hard work ahead.
